**Holiday in Homer - July 19, 2008



















"Holiday in Homer" is an annual Arts and Crafts Festival sponsored by Homer Congregational Church.  In 2008 "Holiday in Homer" celebrates its 27th year tradition and will be held on July 19th. 

The festival includes over 125 artisans and crafters, lots of great food, live music and entertainment for all ages, horse drawn wagon rides, quilt show, library book sale, live radio broadcasts, and much more. 

A new event, in the planning stages for this year, is year will be a 5K running race to be held the morning of the festival.  All of these events promise to attract lots of visitors.

The festival is held on the beautiful church green in downtown Homer.  There is plenty of parking nearby, with free shuttle buses running to town parking lots.
