Pastor

The Rev. James Ziobro, as our pastor, has primary responsibility for preaching and crafting worship, guiding and supporting the spiritual nurture of the congregation, and providing and pastoral care and leadership. To learn more about Jim click on Our Pastor.”


Director of Christian Education

Lori Schmidt is our Director of Christian Education. Lori works closely with our Christian Education Ministry Committee to guide and assist in providing programs such as our church school, annual Vacation Bible School, and youth ministry for children in grades 3 through 6.  Lori welcomes new families and children and seeks to develop the teaching gifts of adults willing to try their hand in a church school class.  Christian Education is a vital, well known ministry of HCC, to which Lori brings enthusiasm, faith, and commitment. Youth Fellowship Coordinator

Sherri Masterson coordinates our Youth Group Ministry for youth in grades 7 –12.  Working with the Director of Christian Education, the Christian Education Ministry Committee, and youth and parents, Sherri plans and leads a range of activities and programs which involve fun and friendship, serving others, and spiritual growth through relationships of acceptance, trust, and sharing. Director of Music

Joe Ford is our Director of Music. He directs our choir of 14-20 singers who provide inspiring music for our 11:00 a.m. worship each week from September to June. Joe also works with soloists and small ensembles to provide a wide range of special music. Joe is a talented instrumentalist in his own right, holding a master’s Degree in Music Performance, Saxophone, from Ithaca College. Joe also coordinates the other musical groups of the church, supporting and helping schedule the two children’s choirs, children’s bell choir, chime choir, and adult bell choir.


Organist

Jim Shultes has been our organist for over twenty years.  Jim is an excellent organist, and at times his playing is the high point of the worship service. He skillfully creates an atmosphere that can be lively and passionate or pensive and tranquil, according to the needs of the service or program. Jim very ably plays compositions from classical to contemporary.


Administrative Assistant

Donna Piotti is the person you are most likely to speak to is you call or visit the church during normal business hours Monday through Friday. She has a multitude of responsibilities and can answer just about any question about the church’s schedule, policies and procedures.


Sexton

Russ Pedersen takes care of church facilities, inside and out. If it has to be moved, cleaned, set up, re-arranged, spruced up, or otherwise maintained, Russ is the person to see. Russ also takes primary responsibility for audio taping our worship services.
